The Drisco Hotel Tel Aviv is located on the border between the picturesque Neve Tzedek neighborhood of historic Jaffa and is housed in two buildings designated for strict preservation. The smaller of the two buildings – the Norton – is dotted with English-style balconies on each floor. As part of the preservation conditions, new lighting fixtures were installed above each of the external openings, and carry through the architectural style. The lighting that illuminates the roof beams and columns emphasizes the historical style of the American-German Colony, where the hotel was founded in 1866 by the Drisco brothers and became the first luxury hotel outside the walls of Jaffa.

The façade of the large building is illuminated by light fixtures embedded in the floor that light the exterior walls and balconies, emphasizing the style of the building and give the illusion that the balconies are floating in the air. The layout of the balcony railings is emphasized by strips of LED lights installed on the bottom, and the crown of the building is lit up to emphasize its three-dimensionality. On the roof floor, low decorative pillars were installed in such a way that they do not interfere with the sea line. A veranda of columns in the front illuminated by uplighting emphasizes the arched characteristic of the architectural style.
